Sony DELUXEPRO CPD-G520 21 inch CRT Monitor

Nice picture, at first sight good value. Poor controls. If you buy one of these, pray it doesn't suffer infant mortality, as mine did. I purchased one new from Gateway on Oct 4th, 2001 and it died shortly after I received it. Shipped to Sony at my expense, dropped into a black hole from which it has yet to emerge. (as of Dec 27th) Took more than ten hours on the phone to Sony to get them to even admit that they'd ever received the thing. Last known status is "required part is on back order", which in my experience translates to something like "We really messed up the [power supply?] for this POS, and are desperately trying to backfit our inventory with parts that won't create a huge ongoing liability. If you already bought one, you're at the very bottom of a great big steaming heap. Get used to it."
