The Bottom Line:
If you can find one, BUY IT. If you have one already, YOU SHOULD NEVER NEED TO REPLACE IT.
This review comes quite late in the life of my camera. I agree with all of the rave reviews for the DSC-P93. it's my 2nd fav only to my nikon SLR. it's quick, the picture quality is superb, it's quiet, and it's totally portable. i especially appreciate the viewfinder in an age where point-and-shoots only have a screen to view now. THE BEST TESTIMONY: i mistakenly dropped my camera in a parking lot late one night after work. i didn't realize that the big bump i'd run over while backing out of the space was my camera case. Mortified, i thought the camera was dead, took it to 2 shops and they tried to sell me cameras that would be cheaper replacements than the repair. i refused. the screen was broken, and after i took off some of the outer (yes, cheap plastic) lens, i realized that THE CAMERA STILL WORKED. and that the image quality was as good as before i ran over it. I'm currently looking to replace my DSC-P93 with the same model, only after not being able to set it up for the new memory stick b/c i can't see the screen. This camera is a great friend. If you see one on Ebay, SNATCH IT UP!!!
