My DVPNS725P just bit the dust
Pros
Flexible in playing DVDs that another player would not.
Cons
Unit appears to be failing.

I've had this DVD player maybe... 1.5 years tops? It worked great - read DVDs that others wouldn't - until it didn't. It started freezing partway through while playing a DVD. Some of these DVDs are pretty dirty but ... this is happening often now, and this is a DVD player, not a VCR. I think it is toast. I'm getting a new player, and it will be a different brand. I don't know what else, though - while it worked it was fine.
Sigh.
