Great phone, if you use it only as a phone.

Pros Small, good battery life, great sound, great reception, strong vibe
Cons Horrible keypad, bad user interface, too quiet
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you want data, SMS, etc, this isn't for you. If you use it AS A PHONE, it's a great deal!
I personally think that if you intend on buying a cellular phone, and plan on using it simply to make calls, the Ericsson T18z is a great choice. It's simple, the battery life is great, and it's got a strong vibration - you won't miss calls by not feeling it.

Sound quality - it's quite good! Voices are always clear, and they sound nice. My one gripe about it's sound is that it isn't loud enough. If you ever think of using this phone in a crowded room with lots of noise, forget it. It's simply not loud enough to do that with, even with the volume at max setting.

Reception - This thing beats every GSM phone I have ever tried! I can get reception where my Nokia 5190 can't, and it beats a Mitsubishi G310 too! You don't have to worry about missed calls with this phone.

Battery - Lasts nice and long. I usually can get three solid days out of it without needing a charge.

Games - Nope...sorry...not here =-/

Keypad - Sorry, I had to say this. I use text messaging a lot, and do a lot of typing on this phone, and i must say, the keypad is horrible. It is perhaps the worst feeling keypad I've tried on a phone...Again, it's fine if you are just dialing numbers, but it's horrible for SMS. it's very easy to press a button without actuating it, and the response time is slow (if you type too quickly, the phone can't catch up)

Durability - I don't really know...I havn't managed to beat mine up yet =-) It feels quite solidly built though..

User interface - If you will be digging through the menus a lot, and using SMS, this is NOT the phone for you. Nokia phones have a MUCH better interface than this one..

Customizability.....Well...there really isn't any. No faceplates, and the only way to get ringtones is to type them in yourself =-/

Data - Nope...Doesn't support it at all. No IR port, no internal modem..

Overall...If you will use this AS A PHONE, it's great. If you use text messaging, or other GSM features, this isn't the one for you.
