A Typical Ericsson...Not a good Sign

Pros Nice design-easy to hold Voice activated dialing Inexpensive
Cons Poor sound quality (On both ends) Poor reception
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Overall, I would not recommend this phone unless you plan to replace it in the near future. Cheaper is not always better.
After having my Nokia 8260 stolen in a comedy club recently, I did not have the money available to purchase one of my standard Nokia replacements. Though I had heard less than desireable reviews about the quality of Ericsson phones in general, I decided to take a leap of faith and go with the cheaper option. Let me just say...You definitely get what you pay for.

The reception on this phone is most certainly well below par. If you are in a parking garage, indoor mall, office building...don't even bother. Also, people on the other end report excessive static...Even when I have a full signal and should be sounding clear as a bell.

I also have never had a cellular phone who's battery needed more attention than this one. My old Nokia needed charged every 2-3 days while this one can have a full charge when I leave in the a.m. and NEED TO BE PLUGGED IN the very minute I get home. I must say I am quite disappointed.

On the plus side, this phone is easier to hold/handle than the Nokia 8260...simply based upon its size and shape. The Voice activated dialing is a nice feature while driving and the text size can be adjusted to 3 different levels for those with vision difficulties.
