The Bottom Line:
So, in review, this phone is very good, in terms of size, and capabilities it can perform. Hope ya like it when ya buy it!
The day I went out to buy a phone, I was going to stay away from Ericsson, mainly because I didn't like the phone I had previously with them. It was just a bland phone. But when I saw this phone, I was hooked. Not only does it look cool, but you can get different face/back plates for it. It comes in silver, but you can also get blue, orange, red and black, plus I hear there are more out, but I have yet too see them.
The phone has many dfferent rings, and allows you to customize your own. It even allows you to make a different ring depending on who calls you. So, if your mom calls you can have All Hail The Queen, or you friend the Fur Elise, or what have you.
The phone also comes with 4 games, one that it like Othello, one like Pac-Man, one like Snake, and one where u are a pad, and you bounce a ball off of you and knock out blocks above you, whatever that is called, lol.
The ear pieces that Ericsson offers now is much better than what they used to offer. The old style I had on my 1228d had a coiled up cord, with the ear piece and microphone separated on the cord. Not to mention, everytime I used it, everybody said they heard themselves echo. The new one had no coiled cord, plus the ear piece and microphone are on one piece. Plus, nobody hears an echo, which is a big bonus. Although they do say it picks up any sounds, like when I turn on my truck, the dinging is deafening to them.
The phone has a pretty good talktime, depending on signal strength. The better the strength, the better the battery. In case you didn't know, the stronger the signal, the less the battery has to work, and vice-versa. On a 3 bar or more signal, you can talk for 3 hours or so, but in 2 and under maybe only an hour and a half.
You can also have background images on the phone as well. There aren't very many to choose from on the phone, but you can download more graphics and rings, mine are from attwireless.com.
