Sony Grand WEGA KDF-50WE655 50 in. HDTV LCD TV

I shopped for a TV of the approximate size of the 50" Sony kdf-50we655 at a local high end electronics store, and the picture quality of this tv was the best of any. The picture quality is just as good at home, incredible! As I read in many other reviews, the remote is pretty bad. Not only are the buttons too small, but the functions are not intuitive, and you could not use this television without reading the instruction manual. Honestly, with many home electronic devices, you can usually think of something that the manufacturer could have done better, but this Sony tv does not meet the minimum standard of usability. Sony needs to go back to the drawing board in terms of usability, its ok that you may need to read the manual to use some advanced feature, but to just watch cable tv? Also, of note, when the tv autoprograms the channels, the screen says it may take up to 55 minutes. It actually took closer to 5, but that seems a bit long. It also takes a second or 2 to change channels. Thats pretty slow considering how fast electronics has become. The picture is truely INCREDIBLE though, and although I wish the tv was easier to use, I do not regret buying it.
