After having a 20" Sony tube television for about 5 years, I decided it was time to upgrade. After seeing this television on sale at Future Shop I decided why not, give it a shot. Read some short reviews, and decided the aesthetics (Sony always gets these right) were perfect for the room it was... Read full review »

My wife and I decided to buy this TV after being convinced by my brother-in-law. We paid $1499.99. In short, the TV is so much better than I could ever imagine. For the time being, I'm convinced rear projection is the way to go. The HD broadcasts are stunning, and even SD is great. I have the TV... Read full review »

OFF the hook!!! I did a lot of research before buying. I first started off by narrowing down what I wanted. I started off looking at 42" TVs for my living room (I later bought a 42" plasma for the bedroom) Once I looked at larger than 42 it was harder to go back. Since I was going to be playing... Pros Simply the best unit over 50" and under $2300. No question.
Cons Tinny TrueTXT Surround Mode Variable Picture Settings Per Input a Hassle.
Recommended it? Yes

The Grand Wega 55" LCD was my first HD set bought, Max flat panel size 42" wasn't going to cut it in the space the TV was going. >42" meant either DLP, Giga-bucks Plasma or LCD Rear Projection. Toshiba 62"HM95 DLP was very close to sucking me in, but in the end, DLP's picture was just too 'mushy',... Read full review »
