Good picture but you have a BIG PROBLEM, the only way you can see your movies are through Sony's "Motion Picture Program" and you can't change that to any regularly used programs, i.e., mpeg, etc.. You have to spend hundreds more to see your movies on iPod or Zone, etc.!
I have just purchased the Sony HDR-SR5 AVCHD 4MP 40GB but I am returning it as Sony either did not have the courtesy to their customers to provide suitable programs to back it up. They only thought about their profits and profit only! That's the service they didn't provide for their customers and they do not deserve our loyalty!! I am returning the camera back to the retailer I have bought to express my voice!
