Sony Bravia 32 KDL series LCDs have problems and last barely past the warranty period.
Pros
Clear picture and nice sound. Lasts only long enough for the warranty to run out.
Cons
Sony no longer offers products that last; lucky if it lasts longer than 12 months.

Set started out really nice, very clear, good sound. However, at less than 18 months the LCD panel went bad and the cost to repair it was more than I bought the original set for. After talking with the dealer we purchsed the set from and numerous calls to Sony customer relations I am out $800 and left with a lasting impression of Sony as a company. They have a problem with their LCDs and have had for as long as 2006 from what I have read, but they refuse to make good on any of their products. In all fairness they did offer to pay half the repair cost (which is more than the retail price on their own site for the same set) but given our current economic situation and the price of a new set that is just not feasible.
