A few weeks ago our 17 year old Toshiba 35" color TV with PIP died. It was the best TV we had ever owned. Until this new Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTV, that is.
Our new Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTV gives us the best picture - especially in HD - that we have ever EVER had. This TV is loaded with so many advanced bells and whistles that we will never use many of them. Our Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTV is more than just a TV. It is an extraordinary viewing experience every time we watch something on it - sports, news, cartoons, shows, movies; even commercials are awesome.
Set up is so easy. We needed our new TV immediately so we took it home from the dealer in our vehicle. It is only 42" wide and weighs about 50 lbs.. It is very easy to handle. We were told to never lay it flat - so we kept vertical all the time.
To get it started all you do is: Take it out of the box -- unwrap everything - snap the TV directly into its stand -- connect the antenna/satellite/cable leads into the back of the TV -- put the batteries in the remote and power it on.
It comes calibrated with 4 settings -- cinema, standard, vivid, and custom. You can change any or all of them -- we only changed the custom setting, and be sure to TURN OFF the automatic light sensor feature, otherwise the picture is dimmer than you might like it. It was for us -- turning that feature off makes the picture look wonderful.
Of course, the Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTV is just the TV. You also will need a stand or a wall mount to place it on. We bought a nice furniture cabinet that makes it look great. Be sure to read the manual and anchor to the Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTVto your cabinet, as it is recommended to be, otherwise the TV could be easily tipped over without doing so
That's all there is to it. After that just sit back and learn about your new toy. Enjoy the HDTV and even standard definition video programming..... they are all beautiful to watch on the Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR6 120mhz LCD HDTV.
And the TV's remote is even programmable. It also operates our RCA DirectTV Satellite Receiver and our DVD/VHS systems.
It's such a cool TV system my words do not do it justice. It so much exceeds are expectations.
