Bravia 46 Xbr4 picture problem

So far it system worked flawlessly and pictutre quality was excellent.

Based on my experience I would not reccommend any one to buy this product .

I bought a Sony Bravia XBR4 TV about 18 months back. After doing a lot of research I decided to go for this product primarily due to two reasons: 1. I have had excellent experience with Sony product especially TV. 2. I read lot of good reviews about this product in various medias. But just recently the picture started blurring. This problem started just about three weeks back. Initially I thought it may be the cable which has bad signal. But Then I checked with my other tv which gets the signal from same cable the picture was fine. This problem occurs only whjen you turned it on and lasted for couple of minutes initially. But is getting worse and worse. Now it takes about about fifteen minutes before the dark horizontal band go away and you can see the picture clearly. I can't imagine that sony can bring to market such crappy products. I called the sony technical support center and discussed the issues but they did not have any answer. I am affraid that some major component is malfuncting.
