We purchased this tv in August of 2008. In January of 2010 the tv started developing horizontal band at the bottom that is shaded gray....looks like the pixelation for lack of a better word isnt clear. I too bought a Sony because of its quality and reputation. I am truly disappointed as the 62" tv I bought had a recall issue on the projection gun at 3 months old and now this on my 32". You have to wonder how I can have two issues in one household and Sony have such great ratings.
