good picture quality and reliability
Cons
overscanned image, no VGA input

Yes
Evem after 4 years, I am happy with the picture quality. There are newer TVs that look worse than my current screen. I use this TV for HD console gaming and PC/Windows Media Center. I primarily use only the component video and DVI inputs. Occasionally, I use the front-panel S-Video - but only sparingly.
At 720p, the image is good. Text from a PC over DVI is easy to read. Console games have minimal motion artifacts. Image is way to fuzzy and shaky at 1080i. At the time of purchase, the supported viewing angles were better compared to the competition. Since then, competitors have caught up though.
The only problem I've had with the TV occured during the first 6 months of use. Apparently, the original controller board had a habit of killing the lamps quickly. Sony fixed it promptly and without issue. The same bulb still operates in the TV 3.5 years later.
My primary complaints about the TV are:
-Overscanned image. Do not buy this TV if you want to use a PC with it. The edges of your windows desktop will not show correctly.
