HDTV ahead of its time

Good for the first 9 months ONLY!!
Purchased the Sony LCD Projection TV from Comp USA in April 2004. Within 9 months we had our FIRST service call and had to replace the lamp because it wouldn't turn on. Same problem with our SECOND service call a year later. NOW you can hardly

Optical Block fails in 3 years & cost $1100 to replace DON'T BUT SONY
I purchased a SONY KF60WE610 from circuit city in June 2004.I now see blue light leaking out of left front corner and along bottom of screen, Sony will not extend warranty on this part. Lots of issues here
Great picture. No place for center channel, will have to mount a shelf behind the TV. That sucks. If you buy Sony's shelf, no place for center speaker at bottom because that's where the receiver has to go. No place for much of anything on the shelves except receiver, one other big item...
