The TV did not last 2 years. A service technician said all of the picture tubes were bad and it would cost more to fix it than if I bought a new set. Customer service wouldn't do anything since the set is out of warranty, basically giving me the perception that Sony does not stand by this product. The picture on the set was great while it worked, so if you feel like this TV is for you, buy the extended warranty...you'll need it. Personally, I don't think I'll purchase a Sony television again.
