The Bottom Line:
Outstanding picture quality
I have been extremely satisfied with my 53 inch Sony projection TV. The picture clarity is very impressive and when coupled with Sony's surround sound audio system makes for a great home theater system.
The picture as seen from an angle greater than 70 degrees off center is degraded so this should be taken into consideration in the context of your viewing set up. However, the color, brightness and sharpness of the picture make it a true pleasure to watch.
This TV allows you to view two channels at the same time if desired but the set up and remote control features to use this function are cumbersome.
The built in sound system is adequate and use with analog video sources is a waist of the true capabilities of the TV. I recommend spending extra on the Sony surround system and getting digital cable,
