I bought this tv and loved it...11 months old it started turning itself off...I would just turn it back on. 12 months old I couldn't turn it back on..called Sony for repair. Michael's Video is the Sony authorized service company here. They ordered parts...tv still didn't work. He said he needed to take it and send it in for repair. He took it in November 2003. I called him about getting my tv back..he said it couldn't be fixed. I called Sony and said just give it back to me. I told Michael's Video I wanted it back. He said I couldn't get it back. This is not right.
