Review of Sony KP-57WS500
Pros
Big Screen TV with Sony Quality. Rollers on the bottom for easy moving.
Cons
Widescreen modes make skinny people look fat.

The Bottom Line:
Watch it in Analog mode in the showroom first, so you know what to expect when you get it home!
PROS:
- Best STOCK Sound System of any Projection TV around.
- Compatability with all Sony Components.
- Sony Quality -'nuff said!
- Rollers on the bottom for easy (1 person) moving of the TV.
- Price to Value Ratio.
- HD and DVD looks ABSOLUTELY AWESOME on this TV!!!
CONS:
- Cannot stack a DVD/VCR on the top of the unit.
- Widescreen modes make skinny people look fat.
- Normal mode can burn lines in the sides of your screen.
- Even using Digital Cable, non-HD channel clarity is not as good as tube TV's.
- No memory stick slot on the front of the unit.
This TV is an excellent choice for the money to get top Sony quality that you have become accustomed to.
NOTE: If this is your first Projection TV, and you are used to watching a TUBE TV, go into a showroom and make the sales guy show you what the TV will look like in Analog mode (instead of the HD channels they always have on in the showroom). This will give you an idea of what watching "Normal" TV in your house is going to look like. The quality is far different than what you see on a TUBE TV, as well as DVD or HD mode on the Projection TV. So be warned going in that the picture is much grainier.
