The Bottom Line:
Good TV at first, but it broke several times after 8 months and it's time for it to go. HDTV isn't included, and the square screen is too dull.
When we first went to Good Guys, we were looking at all the big screens to replace our old aging Mitsubishi big screen. We wanted the best, so we went for the most expensive. For $4,500 at first the TV was awesome. But for the price HDTV should've been included. 8 months after we got the TV it started breaking down! The TV got mis aligned very easily. So far it's happened three times, and it's time to get rid of it. Now there's all these new widescreens and the plain square just seems too "dull". So if you had a choice, I'd recommend you go for something HDTV included and you might want to stay away from the Sony brand.
