sonystyle in a 250 pound package

Pros picture, sound and looks, truley eye-catching
Cons regular cable doesnt look to good
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  well it says "recommend to a friend" well if this friend is surrounded by cash and women then go for it!
I purchased this tv at sears, basically a used one for cheap, real cheap considering its size, without 0 percent financing, but whats the difference it still costs alot, say 2500 with a three warrenty (not sony, but sears) and i thank the lord for that, sony is horrible to deal with, in terms of repairs, their theory is ship it to us and we will fix it, and thats if it comes back in one piece, like with my sony laptop that broke and i did that process, it came back even more messed up!, now sears will have someone come down and service it themselves not send me a eight foot box to send them the big screen in.

Now this model has great picture, best i seen, cant wait to see true HDTV signals on this baby, yet watching regular cable tv seems a little streched at times (rarley) but mostly the best types of media to watch this in (till everything is broadcasted in HD) is XBOX, DVDs(especially in widescreen), knowing this puppy is a wider then it is tall, you see more of the picture, instead of it being chopped like in the olden days. I watched the matrix on it and it blew me away, cant wait for reloaded, now playstation 2 games suck mostly, since the graphics are blurry and usually dark, but thats what i experinced so far.

Now when they send me this one, the wheels were gone, so they just threw it in the living room, and the plastic on the screen was cracked, so now their going send me a new glass screen along with the wheels on the bottom to roll it around.

Still real happy about this set, i love the sound, the speaker is on the front, which to me is huge along with the sound, and i compared it to the newer one, with the plexi-glass protective cover, which i heard flickers and needs the CRT tubes replaced, but so far i havent had no problems.

The remote on the other hand is not for everyone, its huge, and the main buttons are scattered along. I only wish it were smaller.

Happy viewing
Thomas
i will update if anything happens
aloha!
