Pros
Picture quality! Very simple set-up. Black exterior a big plus for picture viewing.
Cons
Size. Non-HDTV broadcasted channels are a bummer but it's worth waiting for with this unit!

After buying an HDTV capable LCD unit and being unhappy with sound as well as the picture for the $4,500 price tag, we bought this television for $1999 because we had the space...We are so happy we did! Excellent picture quality (on HD channels of course) and great sound as well. I was only disappointed to hear that Sony would be discontinuing the model. Get one while you still can if you don't have a space requirement, because it is large! I much prefer the CTR(?) HD output to the LCD.
