very clear picture, best for the price.
Pros
3D comb filter gives excellent close-to-HDTV picture. DynaBlack helps improve picture.
Cons
Heavy, ClearEdge VM makes for blocky picture.

Yes
The Bottom Line:
Not HDTV but the closest thing to it without spending thousands.
In my search to replace my 21" Panasonic, my list of requirements was to 1)avoid seeing scan lines, 2)flatscreen, 3)27" and up and preferably 4)Sony or Panansonic - 5)all without emptying my whole bank account.
After my research the KV-32FV310 was the best picture quality for the price. In my mind, the 3DYC digital comb filter makes all the different when i compare this to the next sony model down that uses a 3-line comb filter and comparable 32" flat screens.
Good: Picture.
I am writing this review without having seen what picture quality is with component video, (currently using RF cable to my digital box and S-video to my dvd) so i'm expecting an even more clear picture when i finally get my new cables. Either way the picture is still very impressive with s-video.
The DynaBlack feature improves contrast and picture detail without distortion and the settings are user friendly. You can have 4 different picture settings and personalize each (plus toggle each to see how they affect what you're watching - digi box, dvd etc.) which i found handy. This TV was as close as i found to HDTV quality without spending thousands.
Others have had problems with 16:9 enhanced but mine seems fine and is set to AUTO detect.
Bad: not much.
The ClearEdge VM technology might create sharper picture quality, but it makes the picture seem pixelated and blocky. Exactly what i don't want, so just leave that OFF. Also, with this TV being 178 pounds, you have to pick a spot and leave it there, unless your friends are always around to help move the set.
