Sony KV-32V68 32 inch TV

Great picture, great value! The Sony Trinitron products are all superb, from quality and durability to features and aesthetics. Three years ago I downgraded from a 50" rear projection to the 32" trinitron. I did this mainly for picture sharpness but also for floor space. I really wanted the 35" XRB (you gain picture-in-picture) but price and the fact that the 35" will not fit in most entertainment centers forced me to go with the 32".

The picture quality is wonderful. Like most people these days I mainly use the set for video only employing external units for surround sound. The Trinitron has two additional audio/video banks that are inputted through rear RCA jacks and accessible with the remote for those who want to switch between multiple units (recorders, cable boxes etc.) and do not have sophisticated audio amplifiers.

I also like the front audio/video inputs that allow quick and easy video camera access. It is so hard to shop for picture quality in the stores- with all those sets turned on it's impossible to get an accurate feel for the picture, also lighting and other disturbances- not to mention salespeople that don't know squat -make the job even tougher. That's why opinion sites like this one help a great deal. I

f you can go for the 32" instead of the 27"- the difference is dramatic; Heck if you fit the 35" into your house get that one, with the Trinitron you simply can't go wrong.
