The Bottom Line:
The excellent sound and picture quality makes the SONY WEGA worth the extra cost.
We wanted a 36 inch TV for our new family/media room. I did considerable research (including epinions) but was still reluctant to pay the price for the SONY WEGA, since other brands were available for so much cheaper. (What could be the big difference???) In the showrooms, I was constantly drawn to the SONY WEGA -- great picture, very little reflection off the screen, a truly FLAT screen that makes it seem larger than its 36 inches. I'm glad I paid the extra dollars. Watching is a delight, whether it's cable TV, VCR or DVD. As noted in other epinions, it IS difficult to lift. You need at least two rather strong people -- three is better. But just like the extra dollars, the extra trouble moving it in is well worth it!
