Awesome HD TV!

Pros Great Picture, Awesome Features, Impressive builtin sound, great value
Cons unorthodox remote
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I would definitely recommend buying this TV. You get what might be the best quality for HD at a fraction of the cost of a plasma/LCD TV.
I must say this is one of the best buys I have ever made. The quality picture you get from this television is one of the best.

The setup screen is nicely laid out and easy to use. Its loaded with customizable features that let you view the picture the way u want it, Color Temperature, Clear Edge, etc.

The remote is about the only thing to complain about. It is a rather unorthodox piece of equipment. The flip top part of the remote helps make it look aesthetically pleasing but isn't very convenient. It does take some reading to learn how to use this complicated little device. There are sliders and buttons hidden everywhere. The remote can be programmed to use with a DVR device as well other devices. However, I couldn't get it to work very well with Scientific Atlanta's DVR. It failed to bring up the TV Guide so I still have to use my other remote. The remote did work well with my DVD Player, Sony SLV-D550P.

The back of the TV is loaded with all kinds of input/output connections. From DVI and component to S-video and RCA, you definitely have all the connection options available. Not only that, this TV accepts 7 different inputs, enough for the techy video geek.

You can drop 10 grand quick for a HD plasma TV, but why do that when you can get a even better picture for 9,500 less. The Wega offers high scan 1080i and a DVI connection so your basically set for HD future. There is alot of other features built in that help enhance the picture as well, like the HD Detailer, Dynamic Focus™ Circuitry, Dynamic Picture™ Circuitry, etc... I dont know all the details, but when you turn on the TV and watch the HD feed, you can definitely tell something is working its magic inside.
