I'm an electronics girl. Don't buy me a necklace, I'll take that Sony Wega 36" flat screen TV though. Dad gum! I saw this thing in the store and I knew I had to have it, but being the smart person that I am, I went and researched it a bit. The reviews rave on this baby, and expert opinions agree that it is the best out there.
The Sony Wega line of TV's are their best flat screens out right now, though I have heard there is new technology coming in August. There are three version of the Wega (pronounced Vega btw), the XBR250 is the highest model. Watching regular TV, you wouldn't notice a difference between the three other than a few small features like picture in picture and such. The XBR250 has the most features and when you watch a DVD on it you will see a huge difference. This sexy baby looks beautiful. There is a 32" and a 36" version, but I prefer the 36" version because, damn, it is like a theater in my den.
I have a GREAT home theater setup, and the XBR250 is the only TV I would buy to suit my home theater system. Nothing else can match it. That is, unless you want to pay twice the price, which no one wants.
Price/Quality is what I ALWAYS look at, and the Sony Wega is the best at that. However, if you don't plan on watching a lot of DVD's then you should get one of the other two versions of the Wega.
P.S. - What is the deal with these crazy Epinions people? One of the options for Picture Quality below says "Sharper and Crisper than Real Life"? uh... WHAT? Anyone that chooses that option is an idiot, but I will choose that option simply to prove that it exists. hahaha "My TV looks better than real life". Sure it does.... sure it does.
