If you record MDs in MDLP format then you have to have this deck.
I scored this unit from a guy on eBay for $110 dollars. It is the best deck I have ever had! I've always been a hard rocking kind of guy, but my need for new things caused me to change from cassete tapes to mini discs. I could have gone to CDs, but for some reason I like the MDs better. With the NetMD revolution I began burning my discs faster than ever. My beechin camaro only had a tape deck so I played my MDs through the tape adapter on my MD player. It is just so hard to find in dash MD players that play MDLP formats.
This deck has the best features I could ever hope for. It sounds awesome even on stock speakers. The bass boost feature is really cool too. It kicks up the bass without distorting the highs or messing with the volume. That is really nice.
The part I like most about this deck is that the switch between presets is lightning fast. I've never had a headunit in any car that switches stations so quickly. It is amazing.
