For my birthday, I got a slew of money, so I decided to shell most of it out for this $330 stereo. Now, the price depends on the place where you buy it but Circuit City was running a sale for it. My old stereo was not cutting it so I dropped it and gave it to my brother.
Anyways, this incredible system does come with two speakers in the standard model, but you can receive three more for an extra price, of course. You really don't need the extra speakers, but for you sound freaks, it is a good deal. The 51 CD changer is great for people who have lots of CD's. You can label the CD's with the album name for easy identifying. Now, some recent CD releases have tracks especially made for these kinds of stereos and they have the name of the song as well on the screen. There is also a function called "Plus One CD" which is basically like a stereo with a one CD changer. Put a CD in the Plus One slot, and it will play independently like a discman would.
For the radio, there are twenty presets for each frequency (AM and FM). The jog dial makes moving through stations or CD's much easier. The stereo also does come with a remote, which can work from a wide range for convienence.
This stereo can be used in a large entertainment area or for personal use. Spread the speakers around the room for maximum effect. This is definitely a great, great buy for anyone who likes gerat sound and easy functions.
