The best out there!
When I buy a Sony product, I am always satisfied. MHC-MC1 has many great features. My favorite feature has got to be the capability to hold the 51 cds. Great way to store your CD's
Excellent sound quality for a mid level system. My MC-1 was given to me by a friend that had won it in a contest. My first thought was, oh great your giving me a free stereo(piece of junk), but I was truly surprised when I opened the boxes containing the MC-1.

Big Bang for Buck

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IT IS THE GREATEST LITTLE SYSTEM.

Power, Not Finesse
Sony's MC1 is a great example of the potential power of a good mini system. It lacks the finesse and sound quality that you can get from higher-end systems, or even from similarly-priced 3-CD changers, but the bass power is incredible, and the 50-CD changer works flawlessly.

Poor Sub-out
Don't buy this system if you plan to use a separate sub-woofer. Although it has a sub-woofer output jack, the line-level is so low I had to crank my 10" Klipsh powered sub just to get some sound out of it.
