For descent reception I had to get an amplified antenna. Unit is too bulky to move around. Too much weight for its size and features. The Sony MHC-MC3AV has got to be the most interesting mini-system that I've seen. It's not everyday that 50+1 CD systems use an upright CD storage mechanism.
