The PERFECT MD Player!
Pros
Battery life, size, weight, price, sound, features!
Cons
None, aside from the provided NiCad battery.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Definitely buy it! It's THE BEST portable MD playback only unit out there!
This is the best Sony MD Player that is produced, without a doubt. It has the most features out of ANY Sony MD player in their "MZ-Exx" series, INCLUDING the E90!
It's features:
- Capable of approx. 40 hrs of playback, with a Nickel Hydride battery (comes with Japan E75's) and a AA battery.
- 2 sound settings (bass/treble)
- FULLY ADJUSTABLE BASS AND TREBLE SETTINGS! THE E90 DOES NOT HAVE THIS!!!
- 40 Second skip protection
- Stylish Remote
- Hold
-ALVS
The sound on this unit is perfect, and it's fast to seek and FF through tracks. 40 Sec. skip protection is more than ample, and all the features that are usually found on minidisc players are present. What makes this player truly remarkable is that there is the ability to set the bass and treble! You are able to save two settings to the digital preset, which allows you to revert to them with the flip of a switch. This feature is NOT available on any Sony Minidisc player presently on the market, aside from the new MZ-Exxx and MZ-Rxxx series coming out, which are extremly expensive.
I think this minidisc player is a better choice than it's sister model, the MZ-E90. It is about half the price, and has one more feature in bass/treble custom sets. It is only about 10 grams heavier and slightly larger in dimensions.
Definitely buy this player!!
