Pros Looks sharp.
Cons Hard to get.
Recommended it? Yes
When I was at this mall filled with imported products, the MZE80 caught my eye. I checked the price and was blown away. I knew I couldn?t afford it. But that?s ok, so later on the day I got onto my computer and logged onto Ebay to search for it? I knew that this thing would be hard to get my hands on.
So after a few weeks later, I got back online and search Ebay for the MiniDisc player. And I found it for 120 dollars, so I bought it and within two weeks I received it at my front door.

I ripped the plastic off and cut open the box and picked up the Sony aluminum bodied MiniDisc player. I was not disappointed. The unit runs on 1 chewing-gum battery and/or 1 AA battery. I got it without batteries so that was a down point, but luckily my other MD players came with a chewing-gum battery. So I popped in the battery and a MD that I recorded, and started listening. The quality of the sound was amazing. And after adding the 2 levels of base, it was even better.

The sleek black remote is able to control tracks, volume, base, and more. And by looking at the backlit LCD display you can read tittles, read battery strength, disc rotation, and more. It?s fairly easy to use, much better than the remote included with the Sony MZR50 or the Panasonic MJ30.

The sporty MD player features the popular ?clamshell? device with allows you to slide a MiniDisc into the player. Another handy feature is the hand strap with raps around your hand ensuring a nice firm grip.

Overall this is a well-built player, which will offer years of enjoyment. I recommend that you buy it if you can get your hands on one of these bad boys. I think that if your willing to spend the dough it?ll make a great birthday present.
