Can't live without my MZ-R30. If you love music, you need an MD player!

Pros lightweight, compact, clear sound, CAN CREATE YOUR OWN MIX
Cons a bit pricey, but worth it
Recommended it? Yes
I bought my Sony MZ-R30 almost a year ago, and I am totally in love with it. The design is sleek and smooth to the touch, and it is compact and lightweight for easy travel. Some may ask why an MD is better than a CD player. Well, there are too many reasons to list. First off, you can record the songs of your choice and create a mix. You can do that with a CD, but you need a cd burner. The MD player allows you to take songs off many different CDs and create one awesome mix. A feature I use is to create MP3 MDs. If you go on to websites such as Napster.com or MP3.com, you can download any song of you choice. After downloading the songs to your hard drive on your computer, you can tranfer the songs onto an MD diskette and play it aas many times over on your MD player =). There is no skipping, and the sound quality is equal to that of CDs. I have made mixes that would definitely not be for sale at music stores. Its hard to get a CD that has both techno songs and classical music. However, with an MD player, it gives you the recording power to combine and tracks of your liking. You can also get an MD player installed in your car, so that you can listen to your MD diskette mixes in your car. I think this product has not gotten the proper attention it deserves. This will be the new standard, because it gives the consumer the power of choice. I know you shouldn't download MP3s and create an MD, but who cares if you are using it for your personal use. I paid $350 for my MD player. I know thats a little steep, compared to CD players and the ancient walkmans, but it is definitely worth the investment. When purchasing your MD, I would recommend getting the insurance they offer. MD's can be very expensive to repair if dropped or if something just goes wrong. Having a warranty covers your investment. Well...what are you waiting for...get to your nearest electronic dealer and buy and MD player. You are going to thank me for it.
