I got this unit, and for a while I thought.. "why does mine cost more then that one, when they both look alike" Well the answer is simple. When I first bought this minidisc player/recorder, I had no idea it had the cable to connect directly to my computer and send songs to the MRZ37.

Far from the truth is that this recorder is good at what it does, but for the price it can record, and do even more.

Some people talk about the size, and that its huge. But don't let the picture fool you. This is actually not that big. It's small enought to slide into your pant pockets.

The remote is a nice gizmo that comes along with the package. It is called a "smart remote" which means that this remote does not only control the tracks, but it has editing features too. Sadly it does not even have a display for reading the track and title on the remote.

The player requires 2 double A batteries which can be recharged by its internal recharger.

Question: what do you love about this product?
Answer: I love the fact that this product is small enough to slide into any of my pant pockets and that I can control the tracks,(which I cannot do with my older CD players). And I love the price.

Question: what do you hate about this product?
Answer: I hate the color of this unit. I had no choice to buy the old looking silver color because the blue unit was not in stock.

Overall this is a great deal if you purchase this unit. I think it will make a great gift for your teenage son, I recommend it.
