My Friend spent $250 on A Mini Disc Player. At that time I had no clue what a minidisk were. And I swear that at MOST 1-week mini discs were poking out everywhere. That?s when I started feeling left out. So when I finally saved enough I got it. It?s not what I expected I thought you buy mini disc cd's that come with songs. No. You RECORD your songs in the minidisks and have your own personal cd. And what?s also cool is that you don't have to remember what number a song is, the name shows on the screen! The thing that's really cool is a mini disc is smaller then a 3 1/2 disc so then you save room in your book bag in school. Each Mini disc is about 74 minutes so you can carry a pretty good amount of songs
This mini disc player has: twin Headphone Out. 1 AA battery operation without need for an external battery case. Compact & Lightweight so it won't increase your cargo. Remote control. 40 Second shock resistant memory. Sampling Rate Converter. Synchrony-Recording Function. Battery Life (With AA battery) Playback 17 hours. Record 3 hours. Battery Life (With Supplied Rechargeable Battery) Playback 6.5 hours. Record 3 hours. Microphone: stereo mini-jack. Line in: stereo mini-jack.
Like I was telling before about personalizing your MD (mini disc). You hook it up your pc and RECORD your mp3's that you can easily download from napster. Bad thing though if you have a slow modem you'll have to wait 20 minutes a download. You can also do the same thing with your discman. I think this is a really good investment if you listen to music 24/7, and even if you dont i would try it
