Nice player but kind of big
Pros
Solid build and good sound quality
Cons
Software and size
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
But it if you don't care too much about this size and portiblity
This is really a nice MD Player.
Build is very solid. and sound quality is very good. Compared with some MP3 player, I think this unit has a big advantage on the sound quality.
Since it is using an AA battery, it can keep playing music for a long time. However this also makes the unit kind of big and hard to bring. There is only a short strap comes with the unit. I hope that I can find an armband or some kind of clip so that it can be attached to the belt.
Right now, I have to hold it use my hand all the time. Kind of inconvienient.
The software is of course a weak point of this unit. However, you will be able to use realplayer to overcome the problem. One thing to notice is that this will not work if you use the newest windows 2003 platform. Realplayer have problem to install the plugin for sony devices in this case.
The NetMD burner keeps breaking in my computer so I never use it.
I bought this unit so that I can listen to musics while work out. However, it is very difficult for me to do this while helding it. I hope that it could be smaller and lighter. Like all the new netMD players.
