The PSP is really amazing. It is made by Sony. It is able to surf the internet, play games, chat on Skype, store music, videos, and photos. You can buy UMDs (universal media disk) which only work for the PSP but you can use to play video games and also movies.
One argument is that that it is heavy/big. The PSP 2000 and the PSP Slim are actually really light and they can fit in your pocket. Another argument is that the PSP only has one analog stick so it is a bit awkward to use. It takes some time to get used to at first it actually is kind of fun to use once you are used to it. One major con of the PSP is the Price. The base price of the PSP 3000( PSP slim) is $129.99. I would not recommend buying the PSP Go(N1000). You cannot play the trademark PSP UMD game disk because it has no slot to put the game in. You have to download the games for the PSP Go from Playstation Store, Sony's online game service for the all PSPs. The PSP Go can run for a whopping $249.99.
One rival of the PSP is the Nintendo DS. I think the PSP is better because it has a lot better graphics. Here are things the PSP can do but the DS can’t: surf the net, store videos and music, chat on Skype, watch movies, and download from the internet. That is why I think the PSP is worth buying.
