The Sony Playstation now more than ever, is almost imperative to own. Anyone who does not own or has not heard of the Sony Playstation must be from another planet. Now with the latest release of the Sega Dreamcast, and the upcoming consoles of Playstation 2, you should buy the playstation now more than any other time because of the price drop. Instead of paying 200+ for a system you could probably find the playstation brand new for around just 100 dollars! And believe me their worth one hundred dollars for all the fun action you can have.
Good For All Kinds of Gamers
The Sony Playstation is the best console out there today that will fit all types of gamers. It has some of the best, and newest sports games out there if you like sports. It has more action games than that of the nintendo 64. It also has more role playing games, and board games like monopoly and wheel of fortune than any other system. These games are quite simple to play, and figure out. And did I mention the wrestling games for all you wrestling fans!?!?!

The Sony Playstation comes out with about three or four different games a year for each sport. When a season is about to start with a certain sport you will usually hear, and see about three or four different games. Or some games to that effect. For basketball, and baseball it is just the same, except I don't think there are too many college baseball games out today. But there are plenty of sports games to choose from including bowling, hockey, and even pool. Also Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Cool Boarders 4 is definitely something to think about for snowboarding, and skating fans.

More and more kids today are getting into action/adventure games. Action/Adventure games are games that have some type of action in them, whether it be guns, or bare hands, and also you have some type of mission to complete. Some examples of these types of games are..

Role Playing Games
I am not a big fan of role playing games, but I know there are a number of them on the playstation. Role playing games are games that usually take 40+ hours to beat, but supposively are extremely fun. I just don't have the time for these types games, but here are a few to choose from.....

Spyro
Breath of Fire 3
These are four games that have gotten good ratings, and are supposed to be the three best role playing games (RPG's) on the playstation.
Fighting Games
Fighting games are like one on one grunge matches. This type of game may not seem very fun, but they are well worth your money.
Mortal Kombat(s)
Tekken 3
These are really the only good fighting games on the playstation. Clearly the playstation has a weak point in fighting, but these two games are awesome.
Racing Games
There has got to be some racing fans out there I know I am. Racing games are just what they sound like. Racing cars, or trucks, or even motorcycles.

Playstation really knows its business as far as racing games. I highly recommend all the games above.

Other great games to think about are board games, and game show games. For Example Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly, and Life. These games are almost exactly like the real thing except are more fun on a game console.

Playstations graphics are a little weak, but look almost as good as that of the nintendo 64. The graphics are mostly clean cut, and very good for 32 bit. The graphics are 32 bit compared to the nintendo 64's 64 bit, and Sega Dreamcast's 128 bit.
Conclusions
In Conclusion playstation is the best system out there. They have a variety of games to choose from, and a number of different categories. Whenever I think of a new game or category I will definitely add it in to this epinion. Check it out at a later date. Thanks.
