Does a great job - until it doesn't
Pros
Fairly easy to use, great sound from both digital and analog sources.
Cons
Unreliable for finalizing completed CDs because of unexpected error codes.

Got this for transferring old LPs to CD and making compilation CDs. Had a single-disc version for several years, never had a problem with it, did a fantastic job - until I moved to another state and the unit was damaged in the move. So I got this 5-disc version. Does a fantastic job of making CDs with great sound quality. Even has the ability to adjust sound levels when making compilations from several different music sources. Unfortunately, after about a year or so, the recorder starts sending "error codes" (as mentioned in another review) and the CDs I've spent time making cannot be finalized for play in other units. These codes say that there was excessive vibration during the recording process or that the table of contents cannot be read or the disc I used was dirty. In other words, the process becomes incredibly frustrating because I never know if the end product will be playable.
