Sony RDR-GX7 DVD Recorder

Get ready for the finest dvd recorder on the consumer market. This unit not only has all of the features that the other recorders are needing but it also looks like a rollsroyce. Built like a fine sports car! Its has a built in time base corrector. When you copy your old vhs tapes to dvd, the TBC (time base corrector), will clean it up beyond your amazement. The different recording speeds work as they say they do. Sony has done it again as they always have!!!
This is the best unit on the market for the money. It records on dvd-, dvd-RW, and dvd+RW. I work as a video professional and I can say that after intense study of all of the dvd recorders on the market,this is the one to take home. The new Sony RDR-GX300 is not built like this one. The new Sony GX300 is built like a toy compared to the GX7. The Sony GX300 doesn't have a 1394 i-link connect for your camcorder to download video. My advice is to get one before they aren't being made anymore. The Sony RDR-GX7 is cheaper than the Sony RDR-GX300 and a much better unit.
