Great VCR, If You Can Find It!
The purchase of the Sony SLV-N99 was made to replace a six year old, problem prone Mitsubishi VCR, as my primary VCR.

Lots of features, BUT....
This unit is fine, but not outstanding, as its price might suggest. For best quality you need high quality tapes.The EP speed produces only a fair picture, which is surprising for a VCR at this price. My eight year old VCR made better tapes on EP.
