Sony DVP-NS575P DVD Player

I purchased the Sony DVP-NS575P DVD player about 3 weeks ago, which was my 3rd and 4th DVD player purchase in less than ONE month. In my learning process I found that there are several different types of DVD media and I specifically needed one that would play DVD+RW. So, after a long and exhausting search I found this one - and for the price it seemed like the best there was - and it was great while it lasted, which was about a week. Since I got it from a major electronics superstore chain and I really liked this model, and trusted the Sony name, I exchanged it for the exact same model. This time I didn't have to search for the receipt, it was still laying on the table when it quit working - which was about 6 or 7 HOURS. Everytime I play a DVD copied onto a DVD+RW disc and it goes into pause mode - it's all over with. It won't play ANY other DVD - no matter what type of media - PERIOD. It just keeps saying "cannot play this disc" Then I started thinking about the problems I have with my Sony Digital Video Camcorder - maybe there is a common denominator... No more Sony for me.
