This is my second day of ownership(12/10/06) and I am impressed with the sound. I haven't read through the manual yet to play with all the different settings but so far the preset ones are enough to keep me happy. Nothing feels cheap about this equipment at all. This is my first home theatre system and it was very easy to setup. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to conceal the speaker wires.
My existing DVD player plays all my music CDs and with the built in AM/FM tuner I have a whole music entertainment center. It comes with both an AM and FM antennas and I get good reception from the FM one. I didn't hook up the AM antenna. It also came with the digital audio cable that I used to hook up the DVD player and I already had the audio cable to hook up the TV so all said and done I didn't even need to buy any extra cables.
For the money its a very good buy.
