It's too bad Sony no longer manufactures this model. I've worn mine at work for over four years and probably have more than 6,000 hours (yes, thats six thousand hours) of flaw free operation. I've tried many radios before, and this by far was the best--Great reception, ease of operation, and very reliable. It fits comfortably and does not hurt my ears. I even tried a newer model, but it does not work as well.
But alas, one of the speakers finally quit working, so I need to find a new radio. I don't know why Sony can't stay with a great product and not change it for the sake of change. Hopefully I'll get lucky and find another one of these. Even used would be good.
