The Bottom Line:
Great and once I finish the not so intuitive setup it will be real easy to use.
I bought the receiver on-line due to a significant $298 saving, which put it at $3 more than the Wiz price for an STR-DE945.
I had a Sony STR-DE725, which was mated to a set of low end Sony surround speakers and sub. I carefully researched the BOSE AM15 speakers and listened to my friends and despite the love hate opinions out there bought them - wow what a difference.
Then I upgraded my amp because I wanted DTS capability. I almost bought the STR-DE945, but plumped for the STR-V333ES in the end. I plugged it in and WOW! I definitely know where the extra money went, the clarity is staggering whilst not exaggerating the highs, whilst the bass and midrange are excellent.
I say that it has average ease of use, because although it takes some setting up, for the modes that I have done now, I won't need to touch them again and then it is really easy to use.
