Good but definitely not great

Buy this monitor for low end general purpose use. Save your money for a higher end monitor if doing video or graphics work.
Display
I was disappointed with the image quality of this product. While it is bright and crisp, the convergence is lousy and needs to be adjusted a lot. Convergence is uneven and hard to adjust. Color is good but definitely not excellent or overly pleasing. One plus is that the monitor is easy on your eyes and good for long term viewing.
Controls
The controls are lousy.. The buttons and menus are awkward fiddly, some of the worst I have seen. Very disappointing.
Build
The monitor does take up a fair amount of desktop space and is quite heavy but that is to be expected for a CRT this size. Housing is poorly built and flimsy, and with the two CPD-E540 monitors I have used, the plastic stand is molded poorly so that the monitors sit crooked.
Resolutions
This monitor handles all resolutions very well accept 2048x1356, the highest setting, which can't avoid much flicker.

If you are looking for a monitor for graphics work, this is not it! Save your money for a high end Samsung or MAG Innovision. The monitor has worked well with both Mac and Windows and does not get overly hot which is nice for extended use.
