Solid base and nice extras!
I have loved this stereo. I've never had any problems, and my brother got the same one w/no problems. Some Cd players have a very small display for the time or are slightly unreadable with the sunlight in the car. I can always read the info on the deck. Plus, I can change the colors - 7 colors in fact.
It's just a nice, clear display. Plays my mp3 cds, and is XM radio ready. Detachable faceplate. The Sony units beep at you if you leave the faceplate attached, so its a nice reminder to grab your faceplate before you go. FM1 and FM2 gives you about 20 programmable buttons for the radio stations.
Scrolling Titles with Auto Scroll. ID3 Tag and CD-Text Display. Detachable fold-down face. Repeat/Shuffle. Equalizer factory presets Club, Jazz, Rock, Vocal, XPLOD, Custom, NewAge. Audio system controls Bass, Fader, Treble, Volume, Balance. Tuning display LCD display.
Connector Type 1 x Rear channel output ( RCA phono x 2 ), 1 x Front channel output ( RCA phono x 2 ), 1 x System components control bus, 2 x Subwoofer output ( RCA phono ), 1 x Audio line-in ( RCA phono x 2 ), Remote control.
