Good unit for the price
Pros
Remote for hands off playing. Great Sound for stock system.
Cons
CD sometimes skips over bumps. Wish for more EQ adjustably.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This unit came with my vehicle, but, it's solid construction and good performance makes it one I would recommend for a stock replacement.
This radio came in my truck when I bought it. Great performance from this stock replacement radio. Has a built in Aux port for plugging in your MP3 player or other music player via a 3mm plug. Power output is adequate but it could be better. For stock speakers it is more then adequate. Might need a amp if you are going to push any high grade speakers. Sometime the BTM setting is a little too sensitive and picks up static channels, even with the local setting turned on. I like the fact that once you have channels saved, you can easily scroll through them with the press of a + and - button. CD sensitivity is ok, but can be jumpy at times, needs more buffering. Saves the last channel gone to on 2 fm (depending on where in the BTM setting they are) and 2 am channels for easy selection but pressing the mode button. Can save twelve presets fm in two banks. Has something like 6 preset EQ settings plus a EQ off and a Custom EQ so you have adjust it as you want, but only 3 level EQ. Overall a nice radio. One I would buy to replace another CD player.
