My experience with this unit has proven to me that it was worth it. I bought this player online because my old one got stolen due to the fact that the I carelessly left the faceplate on there. One of the thing I love about the CDX-M8800 is that the face folds back and blends in well with the vehicle. So if you are an individual who is tired of taking the face plate on and off this one is for you.
The display of this unit is pretty nice. As far as CD play, it only skips when you hit a HUGE bump but other than that it plays well. I've spent a lot of money over car audio and I can say this unit for its price is a legitimate buy.
